The story behind the artwork: This year my mum and I got a tattoo on our arm. It was a butterfly! I love butterflies and I see a lot of butterflies at my house. I used stamps and stencils, nature prints and card strip printing to make my butterflies beautiful. I used handmade paper to print on, using my favourite coloured paints and inks. I punched out layers of butterflies and glued them together using glue and string. I painted my stick purple.

This artwork has different prints on each side and the printed tiles have been separated with paper pulp beads.
