Description

The story behind the artwork: I chose to do hanging monkeys because I like monkeys. They hang around in trees so I have styled my art so that it looks like they are hanging around with bananas. Can you spot the naughty one? I used stencils with gold and brown paint to print my monkeys and foam prints for their tummies. I printed brown, black, and gold paint onto handmade papers using stencils and stamps. I used foam and Geli prints for the pattern on their tummies. I punched out my monkeys and bananas and used one long piece of string to glue them together. I then used modgepodge to coat them.

This artwork has different prints on each side.
