Description

The story behind the artwork: Cats are one of my favourite animals. I love how they can pose in different ways. I did black cats because I love how pretty they look. I did background prints in theme of cats such as paw prints and cat outlines with different printing styles. I made a cardboard and foam stamp and used that to get my effect as well as a normal stamp in my print. I made different prints on handmade paper. I used stamps and stencils of paw prints and cats using different coloured paints. I punched out two different-sized circles and glued them together. Then I punched out cats on black paper in various poses. I strung them together using paper string, glue and a stick I painted dark orange. I used paper beads at the bottom of my work.

This artwork has different prints on each side.
