This paper’s base is made from donated shredded paper. Local florist Mint Floral donated their waste product of stems, stalks and leaves which have been cut up, boiled and processed in the hollander. We were unsuccessful in making paper from the pure plant matter – there wasn’t enough cellulose to bind the fibre so it’s been used as an inclusion which has retained some of the green colour and looks delightful in the finished paper.
