The story behind the artwork: My printed artwork is a very personal story. I lost my first little boy. He was stillborn. I created this poem in print to express my sorrow and celebrate my subsequent sons’ birth. I used stamp letters to individually print each letter of each word in my poem and finished it with a stamp heart which shows my love for all of my sons. I used black and blue printers ink. The back print is made from a wood engraving that I designed to resemble my hands always holding my love for my children. I glued the front and back panels together with the string in the middle and tried to get it as straight as possible.

This artwork has different prints on each side.
