Description
The story behind the artwork: I play bowls for Kamo Club and also in Opononi. It is my favourite sport which I love as it brings me closer to my friends and my dad who also plays. I also love fishing. I get lots of joy from fishing and find it a good way to relax. That is why I chose to display fishing and bowls as my exhibition artwork. In my artwork I have made a wood engraved fish as a print, used cardboard and credit card to create backgrounds, and played with different stencils. I also made prints with toilet rolls and found objects which gave circular shapes to represent the bowls. The stencils as well as stamps give wavey shapes in my art to show the water side in fishing.
This artwork has different prints on each side.
