Description

The story behind the artwork: I’m a true kiwi and love my home town of Whangārei. The slogan ‘love it here’ for Whangārei resonates with how I feel. My backgrounds are made with a wide variety of printing techniques. I used a mixture of stamping, toilet roll printing, foam stamping, potato stamps, and nature prints to get the details of beautiful designs in my work. On separate coloured paper, I used the same techniques for my words which paired nicely when layered together. I strung them onto my painted stick and added beads for the finishing touch.

This artwork has different prints on each side.
