A recycled paper including brown paper bag was made without a deckle and then sprayed with tea both before and after pressing. The result is a sepia brown paper with exaggerated edges that are stained darker looking like they’re been burnt.
We’ve been experimenting making what we call Pirate Paper. Recycled paper, made without using a deckle to give it exaggerated natural edges and using tea to stain it a sepia colour. At this stage we just have 10 unique pieces available for sale.
