Ema describes his artwork ‘Starry Night Light’ as follows:

When I look at art it makes me happy.

I love the colours I used on my creation. I used orange and pink recycled paper. I used a tiny star puncher to get star shapes. I used thin white and dyed flax paper to line the edges of my spikes. I used LED rainbow wire lights to make my art twinkle.

I started off with an idea that changed over time but at the end of the process I am proud of what I made and I hope people feel happy and enjoy my artwork.

Emma’s artwork is illuminated by wrapping multi-coloured luminescent wire around the shape.
